About Us

The Karratha Family Centre was established in 1988 and is dedicated to empowering the community of Karratha. We run multiple child focused learning programs, training courses, adult craft sessions, community connection initiatives, one-off annual community events, and many more family focused projects at low to no-cost. Our centre is dedicated to empowering community members to build social connections, learn new skills, contribute to and feel safe in our community, in a fun and supportive environment.

As a not-for-profit community centre our aim is to be as inclusive as possible and therefore, we do not charge membership fees for our attendees. We aim to welcome everyone from the community of Karratha and surrounds without restricting to a ‘member only’ facility.
